UNSPSC 10212001: Live aubergine anemone

Live plant including the root ball of the aubergine variety of anemone

UNSPSC 10212001 Live aubergine anemone is a Commodity code for a specialized marine organism with no documented recent state or local procurement activity. The recent opportunities tagged to this code involve landscaping, irrigation installation, dune restoration planting, environmental management services, and general plant procurement — none of which align with the purchase of live aubergine anemones, a marine invertebrate. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being solicited suggests either miscoding at the source or absence of legitimate state and local demand for this specific commodity.

The five recent opportunities posted between January and June 2026 span Florida counties (Pasco, Collier, Pinellas), Georgia (DeKalb County), and Texas (City of Dallas), and cover terrestrial landscaping, coastal dune restoration, environmental mitigation, IT infrastructure installation, and nursery plant supply — none involving marine life procurement. Issuing bodies include county commissions, a city procurement bureau, and county environmental divisions. Without genuine procurement activity under this code, firms targeting this UNSPSC classification will find little market signal to pursue.
