UNSPSC 10211608: Live globemaster allium

Live plant including the root ball of the globemaster variety of alliums

UNSPSC 10211608 Live globemaster allium is a Commodity code that does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under it. The posted opportunities—IT and low-voltage infrastructure reconstruction at DeKalb County's tennis center, landscape and irrigation installation along a Florida county road, coastal dune restoration planting in Collier County, environmental site management and native plant installation in Pinellas County, and general plant purchase by the City of Dallas—involve broader landscaping, native plant installation, dune stabilization, and environmental restoration work rather than the purchase or supply of globemaster allium as a discrete plant commodity. The issuing bodies include county governments (DeKalb, Pasco, Collier, and Pinellas Counties in Georgia and Florida) and a major city (Dallas), soliciting work across ITBs, IFBs, RFPs, and informal quote processes.

The geographic spread centers on Florida and Georgia, with Dallas, Texas appearing in the most recent activity. Recent opportunities span coastal dune restoration, median and roadway landscaping, environmental wetland and stormwater site management, and general nursery plant procurement, posted between late January and mid-June 2026. The mismatch between the code name and actual solicitation scope suggests either miscoding by the issuing bodies or a data classification error; the code shows little relevant recent activity for live globemaster allium supply as a standalone product line.
