UNSPSC 10202762: Live parrot rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the parrot variety of rose

UNSPSC 10202762 Live parrot rose bush (Commodity) shows minimal relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The code nominally identifies a single ornamental plant species, yet the recent opportunities posted under this code involve IT infrastructure installation, landscape and irrigation design and installation, coastal dune restoration planting, environmental remediation and native plant installation, and a generic plants purchase order — none of which target live parrot rose bushes specifically. The mismatch between the code's narrow commodity name and the broad landscaping and environmental work actually being solicited suggests either systematic miscoding or use of the code as a catch-all for plant-related procurements.

Issuing bodies include a county government (DeKalb County, Georgia), two Florida counties (Pasco and Collier), a Florida county environmental program (Pinellas County), and a city government (Dallas, Texas). Representative recent opportunities span landscape and irrigation installation along a 2.95-mile corridor (Pasco County IFB due April 14, 2026, capped at $120,000), coastal dune stabilization planting (Collier County Quick Quote due March 13, 2026), multi-year environmental planting and monitoring services (Pinellas County RFP due July 29, 2025), and a commodity purchase of unspecified plants (Dallas IFS due February 3, 2026). Activity concentrates in Florida and Texas, with only one opportunity outside that footprint.
