UNSPSC 10202462: Live red sensation or colorad rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the red sensation or colorad variety of rose

UNSPSC 10202462 Live red sensation or colorad rose bush is a Commodity code that shows a significant mismatch between its nominal scope and recent state and local procurement activity. The two recent opportunities tagged under this code involve landscape and irrigation construction at a county median project and general nursery plant procurement by a city — neither of which centers on the specific rose bush variety named in the code. A third opportunity concerns IT infrastructure at a recreation facility and bears no relationship to horticultural products at all. The code appears to see little relevant recent activity aligned with its stated commodity.

The source provides no concrete evidence of state and local governments actively soliciting live red sensation or colorado rose bushes as a distinct line item. Pasco County's median landscape work (IFB IFBKM27004, due October 6, 2026) calls for landscape design and planting but does not itemize plant species. The City of Altamonte Springs' nursery plants procurement (ITB 26085KY, reissued with a July 29, 2026 deadline) covers plugs, trees, annuals, and grass seed in defined product groups but makes no mention of rose bushes. The DeKalb County tennis center opportunity is unrelated to plants entirely. Geographic activity is limited to Florida and Georgia based on these records. Without solicitations actively specifying this commodity or demonstrating buyer demand for the product, the code presents a limited procurement signal for business development purposes.
