UNSPSC 10202178: Live trixx rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the trixx variety of rose

UNSPSC 10202178 Live trixx rose bush is a Commodity code that nominally names a single ornamental plant product, but recent state and local activity shows the code applied to broader landscape construction and nursery-supply procurement. The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners issued an IFB for median landscape and irrigation construction spanning 9 miles of Little Road in Florida, encompassing landscape design, planting, irrigation system installation, and site work—work that extends well beyond nursery plants alone. The City of Altamonte Springs, Florida posted an ITB for as-needed landscaping plants and products including annuals, potted plants, plugs, grass seeds, and trees across four product groups with optional renewal terms through five years. These solicitations suggest the code captures both one-time landscape construction projects and recurring nursery-supply agreements. Issuing bodies include county boards and city procurement offices, both pursuing landscape maintenance and development work.

Recent activity concentrates in Florida, with the Pasco County project (IFB IFBKM27004, due October 6, 2026) and the City of Altamonte Springs contract (ITB 26085KY, due July 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. ET) representing the primary recent opportunities under this code. The Altamonte Springs procurement specifies delivery to zip codes 32701 and 32714 within 15 and up to 30 days depending on stock status, a one-year initial term with up to four one-year renewals, Commercial General Liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence, and requires proof of Florida Sunbiz registration and current Business Tax Receipt. One unrelated opportunity appears in the recent block—a DeKalb County, Georgia ITB for IT and Low Voltage Infrastructure at the DeKalb Tennis Center—which does not align with the nursery-plants scope and likely reflects a code-tagging error in the source data.
