UNSPSC 10202176: Live star 2000 rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the star 2000 variety of rose

UNSPSC 10202176 Live star 2000 rose bush (Commodity) shows little relevant recent activity — the recent opportunities tagged under this code involve IT infrastructure installation at a recreation facility in Georgia, landscaping and irrigation systems for roadway medians in Florida, coastal dune restoration planting in Florida, environmental site management and native plant installation in Florida, and ornamental plant purchases by the City of Dallas. None of these solicitations actually concern the specific rose variety named in the code. State and local procurement bodies appear to use this code inconsistently or not at all for the product it nominally describes.

The mismatch between the code's title and the actual work being solicited under it suggests that businesses evaluating this Commodity code should verify the specific plant materials and landscaping services being sought in each opportunity before pursuing it, rather than assuming the code's name predicts the procurement scope. The geographic activity visible in recent postings is concentrated in Florida (Pasco County, Collier County, and Pinellas County) and Texas (City of Dallas), with a single opportunity in Georgia. No repeat buyers of this specific code are evident in the recent opportunities block.
