UNSPSC 10202149: Live luca rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the luca variety of rose

UNSPSC 10202149 Live luca rose bush, a Commodity code, nominally describes ornamental rose plants but shows little recent activity aligned with this specific product line. State and local governments soliciting under this code are actually buying broader landscaping plants and services — annuals, potted plants, plugs, grass seeds, trees, and full median landscape and irrigation construction. The issuing bodies include county boards of commissioners, cities, and municipal procurement divisions. Work scopes range from as-needed supply contracts for nursery inventory to design-and-build median landscape projects spanning multiple miles with irrigation systems.

Recent opportunities reflect activity in Florida and Georgia. The City of Altamonte Springs posted an ITB on August 24, 2026 for nursery plants and products (ITB26085KY, re-bid, due July 29, 2026) sourcing annuals, trees, plugs, and grass seed on an as-needed basis under a one-year contract with four one-year renewal options, requiring delivery to zip codes 32701 and 32714 within 15 to 30 days and $1,000,000 Commercial General Liability insurance. Pasco County Board of County Commissioners posted an IFB on September 2, 2026 for median landscape and irrigation construction Phase II (IFBKM27004, due October 6, 2026) covering approximately 9 miles along Little Road between Ridge Road and US 19, encompassing landscape design, planting, irrigation system installation, and site work. A third opportunity—DeKalb County's tennis center reconstruction—was tagged to this code but involves IT and low-voltage infrastructure installation, indicating a classification mismatch with the code's nominal scope.
