UNSPSC 10171604: Sulphuric fertilizer

UNSPSC 10171604 Sulphuric fertilizer, a Commodity code, covers sulfur-based fertilizer products that state and local governments procure for turf and landscape maintenance across municipal parks, sports complexes, rights of way, and similar grounds-keeping operations. The code captures the specific chemical formulation of fertilizer rather than general plant nutrients, and recent solicitations frame the work as part of integrated vegetation management programs that bundle fertilizer with herbicides and other chemical products.

The City of Peoria, Arizona posted an IFB (P260071) on June 12, 2026, requesting fertilizer, herbicide, and vegetation management products for the Peoria Sports Complex, Rio Vista Community Park, Pioneer Community Park, Paloma Community Park, city rights of way, and all neighborhood parks, with bids due July 3, 2026. The scope of performance spans Peoria and subordinate park and rights-of-way locations within Maricopa County. Arizona represents the documented recent activity under this code; the dataset shows a single representative opportunity without broader geographic distribution or patterns of repeat buyers across multiple jurisdictions.
