UNSPSC 10171602: Potassic fertilizer

UNSPSC 10171602 Potassic fertilizer is a Commodity code under which state and local governments procure potassium-based fertilizer products for turf and landscape maintenance across municipal parks, recreation facilities, and public rights-of-way. Cities and municipalities are the primary issuing bodies under this code, sourcing potassic fertilizer as part of broader vegetation management and grounds-keeping operations at public properties.

The City of Peoria, Arizona posted an RFQ on June 12, 2026 (P260071, response due July 3, 2026) soliciting fertilizer, herbicide, and vegetation management products for the Peoria Sports Complex, Rio Vista Community Park, Pioneer Community Park, Paloma Community Park, city rights-of-way, and neighborhood parks throughout Maricopa County. This represents the most recent documented activity under the code. The opportunity reflects typical municipal procurement patterns: aggregated demand across multiple parks and public spaces, bundled with related chemical products for integrated grounds care, and tied to maintenance cycles across geographically dispersed municipal properties.
