NIGP 96736 Drilling Equipment and Supply Manufacturing Services, an Item code, covers the manufacture and supply of specialized drilling equipment and components for state and local government operations, though recent state and local procurement activity under this code is not evident in current solicitation records. The code encompasses manufacturing services for drilling apparatus, replacement parts, and related supply items that government agencies source to support infrastructure, utility, resource-extraction, or maintenance operations requiring drilling capability.

State and local procurement activity under this Item code does not appear in available recent opportunities. Without documented current solicitations or issuing-body engagement, business development professionals should monitor this code for emerging demand signals while evaluating whether the scope aligns with adjacent drilling-related services or equipment codes that show more active state and local buyer engagement.
