NIGP 96133: Geese Control Services

NIGP 96133 Geese Control Services, an Item code, does not appear to align with the recent state and local solicitation activity available in this dataset. The single posted opportunity from the City of DeBary, Florida concerns irrigation system improvements at a municipal park — specifically the conversion and installation of a Hunter-brand irrigation controller, master valve, flow meter, and related piping — rather than geese or wildlife control services. The project, posted April 13, 2026 with a bid deadline of April 10, 2015, involves park infrastructure work under competitive bid, with an estimated cost of $90,000 and a 45-calendar-day completion timeline, but falls outside the scope suggested by the NIGP code title.

Without additional state and local solicitations under NIGP 96133 in the dataset, no reliable characterization of issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, or active demand for geese control services can be drawn. The irrigation project alone does not establish procurement patterns or buyer preferences under this code. Business development professionals pursuing actual geese control work should verify whether state and local agencies in their target jurisdictions use this NIGP code for wildlife management, or whether procurement offices classify such services under alternative taxonomies such as grounds maintenance, landscape services, or pest control.
