NIGP 95130: Materials Resold to Department, Physical Plant Only

NIGP 95130 Materials Resold To Department, Physical Plant Only is an Item code under which state and local governments procure materials and supplies for resale or distribution to physical plant departments and facility management operations. The code captures goods that plant operations departments buy in bulk or through third-party vendors and then distribute internally to maintenance, custodial, groundskeeping, and building-systems teams—typically items consumed directly in day-to-day facility upkeep rather than capital equipment or construction materials. State and local issuing bodies using this code range across city public works departments, county facilities management divisions, and school district plant operations offices that need a mechanism to track internal resale of consumables and supplies.

The source material provided does not include a populated most-recent-state-local-contract-opportunities block, and therefore does not support identification of recent solicitation activity, geographic distribution, issuing-body concentration, or representative opportunities under this code. Without posted RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB notices or awarded contract records, no current market-activity characterization is possible from the available data.
