NIGP 79528: Cloth Rolling Equipment and Supplies

NIGP 79528 Cloth Rolling Equipment and Supplies is an Item code covering machinery, fixtures, and consumables used in commercial and industrial fabric processing — specifically equipment designed to wind, unwind, or manage rolls of textile material in manufacturing, finishing, or distribution workflows. State and local governments solicit under this code when procuring replacement parts, maintenance supplies, or equipment for textile operations within correctional facilities, state-operated laundries, public health institutions, or municipal utility workspaces that process linens and fabrics at scale. The issuing bodies are typically state departments (corrections, health, transportation) and county or city maintenance divisions that operate in-house laundry or textile-handling operations, though the code also captures purchases by school districts and special-purpose districts with significant institutional laundry infrastructure.

The source contains no posted state and local contract opportunities under NIGP 79528 as of 2026-07-21. Without recent solicitation activity, geographic concentration and representative opportunities cannot be determined from available records.
