NIGP 64666: Onionskin (Including Recycled), Environmentally Certified Products

NIGP 64666 Onionskin (Including Recycled), Environmentally Certified Products is an Item code covering specialty paper stock used in state and local office environments, particularly for correspondence, forms, and documents where lightweight, durable sheets reduce postage costs and environmental footprint. The code encompasses virgin onionskin paper and recycled onionskin variants meeting environmental certification standards such as FSC or similar third-party eco-labeling. State and local buyers procure onionskin primarily through cooperative purchasing agreements and standing supply contracts rather than project-specific solicitations, as consumption is ongoing and volumes relatively modest compared to standard copy paper.

The source provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities under NIGP 64666. Without posted RFPs, RFQs, IBFs, or ITBs in the opportunity record, current market activity under this Item code cannot be characterized by issuing-body type, geographic concentration, or representative solicitation detail. Firms pursuing onionskin supply contracts should monitor cooperative purchasing catalogs (particularly state-level paper and office-supply consortia) and direct outreach to state purchasing offices, school districts, and municipal procurement departments rather than expect frequent competitive solicitations under this specific NIGP code.
