NIGP 46080: Steam Hose and Fittings

NIGP 46080 Steam Hose And Fittings, Item code, encompasses replacement and maintenance components for industrial pump systems in wastewater treatment and water reclamation operations. State and local governments under this code procure hose pump parts, replacement components, and fittings required to maintain operational continuity at water and wastewater facilities. The code addresses the ongoing need for compatible parts inventory to prevent service interruptions at treatment centers where pump reliability directly impacts facility operations. Issuing bodies soliciting under this code include county departments of watershed management and other utilities responsible for water reclamation infrastructure. The buying pattern reflects repeat, consumable procurement rather than single capital installations — parts inventory replenishment to support installed equipment already in service.

Fulton County Department of Watershed Management posted an IFB on July 19, 2026 (IFB/GS/DWM/2606-1260240) requesting hose pump parts and replacement components for Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps across multiple Water Reclamation Centers, with bids due July 31, 2026. The solicitation requires vendor registration on atlsuppliers.com to access detailed component specifications and submit bids. Georgia shows recent activity under the code, though the available opportunity block does not support characterization of broader geographic spread or issuing-body concentration across additional states and jurisdictions.
