NIGP 45060: Oilers, Hand

NIGP 45060 Oilers, Hand is an Item code that encompasses manual lubrication and oiling equipment purchased by state and local governments as part of their broader operational and maintenance supply chains. The scope of work under this code reflects commodity procurement for hand-operated oiling tools and lubricant applicators used in facility maintenance, vehicle servicing, and equipment upkeep across public sector operations.

State and local issuing bodies soliciting under this code span multiple jurisdictions and entity types. Sourcewell, a State of Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, issued RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026, to establish a contracting solution for law enforcement equipment that includes hand oilers and related maintenance supplies. The solicitation structure encompasses participation from Washington state counties (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima) and extends to thousands of governmental agencies, higher education institutions, K-12 school districts, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, and public entities throughout the United States and Canada. The response deadline was June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time, with submissions required through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal. This cooperative purchasing vehicle demonstrates that hand oilers are procured as components within larger law enforcement and facilities equipment frameworks, with vendors selected to support broad-based public sector demand across multiple entity types and geographic regions.
