NIGP 23253: Miniatures, Craft

NIGP 23253 Miniatures, Craft (Item) covers craft and hobby supplies that state and local governments procure for recreational and educational programming, particularly through parks and recreation departments serving after-school programs, community schools, and special populations. The sourcing pattern shows issuing bodies bundling miniatures and craft items into broader arts and hobby procurement to simplify vendor management and achieve volume discounts across multiple end-use divisions.

Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia issued RFB No. 26-0014 in February 2026, seeking multiple vendors to supply arts and craft, hobby, and recreational supplies on an as-needed basis for its Department of Parks and Recreation, with an expected annual spend of $30,000 to $50,000 across the After School Program, Community Schools, Seniors, Special Populations, and Recreation divisions. The solicitation required vendors to maintain adequate warehouse stock, ship within ten days of receipt, and include all delivery and handling in their quoted discount percentage. The contract term is two years with three optional one-year renewals, with bid responses due February 25, 2026, and award to multiple vendors based on competitive pricing. Beyond this single identified opportunity, the available records provide no geographic characterization across other states or jurisdictions or evidence of additional recent NIGP 23253 solicitations.
