NIGP 17516: Cocktails (Solutions), Liquid Scintillation

NIGP 17516 Cocktails (Solutions), Liquid Scintillation is an Item code covering laboratory testing solutions and chemical supplies used in municipal water, wastewater, and environmental monitoring programs. State and local governments procure under this code primarily as consumables and analytical materials supporting regulatory compliance testing at water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, groundwater monitoring programs, and industrial pretreatment facilities. The issuing bodies include municipalities and county governments operating water and environmental infrastructure; recent activity shows cities and counties in Florida soliciting both laboratory testing services that consume these materials and the chemical supplies themselves on an as-needed or scheduled basis.

The City of Palm Bay, Florida (Brevard County) issued ITB 19ITB26 in April 2026 for comprehensive laboratory testing services across three wastewater treatment facilities, two water treatment facilities, groundwater monitoring wells, and industrial pretreatment programs—a 188-line-item scope spanning water testing, wastewater testing, industrial pretreatment testing, and courier services with historical annual spending of $66,360 in 2024 and $95,440 in 2025. Pasco County, Florida issued RFQ RFQFP261004 on June 3, 2026 (response due June 26, 2026) for on-an-as-needed supply of large copper sulfate crystals and liquid copper sulfate under an indefinite-quantity arrangement. The code sees recent activity in Florida; geographic spread beyond that jurisdiction is not supported by the source.
