NIGP 12082: Sails (Including Components and Accessories)

NIGP 12082 Sails (Including Components And Accessories), an Item code, encompasses specialized maritime equipment and component parts that state and local governments procure for vessel operations, marine safety programs, and watercraft maintenance. Based on recent state and local solicitation activity, the code captures demand for sail systems, rigging components, and related hardware used by law enforcement agencies, harbor authorities, and other public entities operating watercraft for patrol, training, rescue, and administrative purposes.

The solicitation encompasses participation from Washington state counties including Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima, with the resulting contract reserved for potential future utilization through participating addenda with Sourcewell. Vendors must submit proposals through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal at https://proportal.sourcewell-mn.gov, with questions directed to Mari Vielma at rfp@sourcewell-mn.gov or 888-894-1930.
