NIGP 07554: Presses and Pullers, Machine Powered (Including Frame Alignment)

NIGP 07554 Presses and Pullers, Machine Powered (Including Frame Alignment), an Item code, covers equipment used in automotive service and light vehicle maintenance — primarily hydraulic lifts, jacks, and frame-alignment tools that state and local governments procure for fleet maintenance operations and vehicle repair facilities. Recent solicitations show county and school district purchasing departments acquiring four-post vehicle lifts with specified weight capacities, sliding jacks, and installation services to support automotive service operations.

Worth County Board of Commissioners in Georgia issued an RFP in February 2026 for a single four-post lift with 11,000-pound capacity and two sliding jacks, with installation required and a response deadline of March 2, 2026. The School Board of Sarasota County, Florida concurrently solicited automotive and light truck repair parts through a one-year supply agreement bid in January 2026, though that scope encompasses OEM parts and components rather than powered lifting equipment. Geographic activity centers on Georgia and Florida in the most recent opportunities. County boards of commissioners and school district transportation or maintenance departments appear as the primary issuing bodies under this code.
