NIGP 02085: Terracing Equipment

NIGP 02085 Terracing Equipment is an Item code covering landscape construction and erosion-control products that state and local governments procure for site preparation, slope stabilization, and terrain modification work. Recent solicitation activity under this code is minimal, with no direct terracing-equipment procurement opportunities present in the most recent state and local contract opportunities. The available records show notices of administrative relocation, a cooperative law-enforcement-equipment RFP, and a school-nutrition food bid—none of which involve terracing equipment or related landscape construction materials.

Without active solicitation data under this specific code, no issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, or representative recent opportunities can be characterized from current market activity. Procurement professionals evaluating this code should monitor state departments of transportation and environmental management, county engineering and public-works departments, and municipal parks and grounds-maintenance operations, as these entities typically drive demand for terracing and slope-stabilization products when site development or erosion-control projects move forward.
