Notice of Request for Proposal: Treatment Services for the District of Oregon Probation and Pre-Trial Offices
The United States District Court for the District of Oregon is soliciting proposals to provide treatment services in the following areas: Lane County. Sex Offense-Specific Evaluation and Report (5012) Individual Sex Offense-Specific Treatment (6012) Group Sex Offense-Specific Treatment (6022) Visual Reaction Time (VRT) Measure of Sexual Interest (5025) Individual Treatment (7013) Group Treatment (7023) The vendor would provide sex offense-specific services for male and female federal defendants/offenders who have been ordered by the Court to participate in treatment. These individuals include persons on probation, supervised release, or parole, who are under supervision of the United States Probation Office, as well as persons on Pretrial status under the supervision of the United States Pretrial Services Office. Request for Proposals (RFPs) are posted on the U.S. Probation Office web page at www.orp.uscourts.gov (under treatment tab). The RFP contains the full text of all applicable Government regulations, and all offerors are subject to the provisions contained in the RFP. In responding to the RFP, you should answer each item and supply all information requested.

Added: Dec 30, 2015 8:18 pm Industry Day for Curriculum Development for Probation and Pretrial Services Office The Probation and Pretrial Services Office and the Procurement Management Division of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) will be holding an Industry Day to discuss the requirements for the development of curriculum that can be used by probation officers and treatment providers to teach offenders the necessary skills to change their faulty thinking, steer clear of antisocial peers and develop prosocial networks, maintain employment and address educational deficits, address alcohol/drug use, and recognize triggers to violence and refrain from violent behaviors. Additionally, the AO is tasked to develop and implement a self-paced curriculum for offenders and offenders' support networks to follow so the offenders can independently work on these identified skills.The attached document is a rough draft of our requirements for this project, which is estimated to be from $5 to $10 million. It is provided for your review and to facilitate an interactive discussion during the Industry Day, particularly as it relates to the format of the Schedule of Items, the Statement of Work, the deliverable schedule, the Key Personnel requirements, and the proposal preparation instructions.We welcome any thoughts, recommendations, or questions in advance of the forum, so we may consider those as we prepare.
