Work is performed at specific National Forests and ranger districts throughout Oregon and Washington, including the Colville, Wallowa-Whitman, Siuslaw, Rogue River-Siskiyou, Mount Hood, Fremont-Winema, and Willamette forests, as well as the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
The Forest Service R6-Pacific Northwest Region accounts for 37 of 39 orders ($3.2 million), with the Bureau of Land Management Oregon-Washington placing 2 orders ($407 thousand). Minister & Glaeser Surveying, Inc. and Glahe & Associates Inc. dominate competition, each with 7 orders; together with Eastside Consultants Inc., Gorge Surveying, Inc., and Statewide Land Surveying Inc., these five firms capture 72 percent of combined potential value. Individual task-order ceilings range from roughly $14 thousand to $319 thousand, with most orders firm fixed price. All task orders carry unrestricted (no set-aside) designations, despite the vehicle-level small-business set-aside. The contract family consisted of multiple IDIQ awards (the source references at least 16 distinct prime contractors receiving delivery orders), each competing for task orders.
