The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded an indefinite delivery contract (IDV) to Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. to provide environmental engineering services across multiple task orders. The IDV has a potential value of $49 million over five years and was competitively awarded on an unrestricted basis.
Jacobs has received several task orders against this IDV to date for environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance services. Task orders have been issued for sites in Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and elsewhere. Services include hazardous waste remediation, environmental assessments, groundwater sampling and remediation involving contaminants such as PFOS/PFOA, chlorinated solvents and explosives. Jacobs is utilizing subcontractors to provide specialized testing, drilling, and remediation services in support of the work. The Army Corps is funding the efforts to oversee cleanup of contamination at defense sites through its installation restoration and compliance programs.
