The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District has awarded a $115 million, multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to up to five 8(a) small business contractors for environmental remediation services. The contract, designated as the Northwestern Division Regional 8(a) MATOC for Environmental Remediation Services, will support environmental restoration and compliance efforts across 14 states in the USACE Northwestern Division's geographic region.
The contracted services encompass a wide range of environmental remediation activities, including hazardous waste cleanup, groundwater treatment, in-situ remediation, infrastructure upgrades, sampling and analysis, and other related engineering and compliance services. These efforts aim to address environmental issues at military installations, Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS), civil works projects, and other federal properties under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP), Superfund, and other environmental laws and regulations. The competitively awarded, set-aside contract will have a 3-year base period with a 2-year option, facilitating task orders for the selected 8(a) small business prime contractors, such as Brice Engineering, LLC, to execute these environmental remediation services across the region.
