The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District awarded a multiple-award indefinite delivery contract to provide design-build and design-bid-build construction services within its area of responsibility. The contract holds a potential value of $499 million with a period of performance through September 2028. The Department of the Army is the contracting agency. The original solicitation sought industry feedback on utilizing project labor agreements for large-scale construction projects over $25 million within the Baltimore-Washington corridor, including new builds as well as renovation, repairs and upgrades. Respondents were asked to comment on the appropriateness and impact of implementing project labor agreements on schedule, cost and other considerations. The information received will guide acquisition decisions for future task order solicitations with an estimated total value up to $450 million for construction services within the scope of the Army Corps' mission requirements. Belt Built CFM Joint Venture is the prime contractor awarded under the multiple-award contract.
