The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to R P & H, Inc., doing business as Ready Plumbing & Heating, to provide road rehabilitation services. The IDV has a potential value of $1.2 million over a five-year period from 2020 to 2025.
Under the terms of the IDV, Ready Plumbing & Heating has been issued four task orders to date for road work in South Dakota. This includes repairs to roads at Cold Brook and Cottonwood Dams valued at $324,034, work in Hot Springs for $79,374.25, and rehabilitation of the Cold Brook/Cottonwood Dam Road for $25,717.30. An additional task order for $10,000 was awarded for work in Hot Springs through August 2025. As the prime contractor, Ready Plumbing & Heating will complete repairs and improvements to infrastructure supporting the Army Corps of Engineers' civil works mission.
The original pre-solicitation for the IDV was set aside for total small business and aimed to establish a broad contract vehicle for maintenance, repair, and minor construction of roadways at dams in South Dakota. R P & H, Inc. is a U.S. Small Business Administration certified HUBZone small business. No set-asides were applied to individual task order awards issued to date for work in Hot Springs and Chamberlain, South Dakota.
