Ordering extension to the Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the Missouri River Recovery Program (MRRP) for contracts W9128F-14-D-0025 / 0026 / 0027 / 0028
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District is planning to award a 6 month ordering extension to the Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the Missouri River Recovery Program (MRRP) for contracts W9128F-14-D-0025 / 0026 / 0027 / 0028 from 25 July, 2019 to 24 January 2020. A competitive replacement procurement of these services has been initiated, but has been put on hold. This will result in a gap of contract coverage during critical river structure work for the 2019 high water event and post high water repairs. The extension period is to ensure continued support for emergency levee rehab, river habitat, and flood risk management structures.

Task Order No. 0001 Description: (Approx. quantities) The project consists of work in 2 locations in Thurston &Burt Counties, NE. At Hole in the Rock, this project calls for restoration of the backwater to its originally constructed configuration. Approximately 49,000 cy of material would be removed in order to re-establish approximately 8 acres of SWH. The project includes the removal of deposited sediment from the two, 300 feet long and 10 to 12 feet deep overwintering holes that were constructed as part of the original. These overwintering holes would be excavated to the same bottom width as the bed of the backwater in the location they are constructed. The excavation channel would have a bottom width of 50 feet with 2:1 sideslopes.
