The Department of the Army's Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE) awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract to Summit Technologies, Inc. to provide a range of training support services. The contract has a potential value of $168M over five years. Summit Technologies has received various delivery orders against this IDIQ to provide operational support, training scenario surge services, administrative labor, and non-personal instructional devices at locations including Fort Benning, Fort Novosel, and Hurlburt Field. Delivery orders range from $795K to $23.2M for periods of performance from 2020 through 2028.
The original solicitation sought proposals for an IDIQ to support MCOE's mission to develop training strategies, concepts, and products for maneuver forces. Services included the integration of virtual, constructive, and live training; exploitation of technologies; and training, doctrine and capability development support. The IDIQ and subsequent delivery orders aim to provide MCOE and the Army's Training and Doctrine Command with operational, analytical, and instructional services to ensure maneuver forces are organized and trained according to current and future operational needs. Summit Technologies serves as the prime contractor, with some orders being set aside for small or veteran-owned businesses.
