This Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) was awarded by the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) to XL Scientific LLC, doing business as Verus Research, a small business technology company. The $300 million ceiling contract is for Test and Evaluation of Non-Kinetic (TEN-K) systems, including the development, testing, and assessment of non-kinetic capabilities such as directed energy, electromagnetics, and electronic warfare.
Under this IDC, several delivery orders have been awarded to Verus Research for specific research and development efforts related to the TEN-K mission. These include a $27.9 million order for airborne non-kinetic systems testing, a $29 million order for combined environments design of experiments, a $25.3 million order for a Deuterium-Tritium Dense Plasma Focus Neutron Effects System, a $16.5 million order for the Agile Sources Advancement Program, a $7.3 million order for electronic warfare and electromagnetic spectrum research, and several other orders totaling over $100 million. The work is being performed at locations such as Orlando, Florida, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. These delivery orders leverage Verus Research's expertise in advanced technology development to support the Army's testing and evaluation needs for non-kinetic capabilities.
