The U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Riptide Software, Inc., a self-certified small disadvantaged business. The contract has a ceiling value of $112,066,683.16 and a performance period through December 2024. Riptide, as the prime contractor, will provide the Army and Marine Corps with a range of simulation, training, and instrumentation systems, including digital range upgrades, virtual marksmanship trainers, automated scoring systems, and maintenance services. These efforts support military readiness through the further development, upgrade, and maintenance of the One Semi Automated Forces (OneSAF) simulation software suite. The contract does not have a small business set-aside designation, and the place of performance is primarily in Oviedo and Orlando, Florida. Delivery orders issued under this IDC have obligated over $44 million to date, funding continued software engineering, system upgrades, and product support for the OneSAF program.
The IDC provides a long-term contracting vehicle for Riptide Software to deliver IT solutions and range modernization services to PEO STRI and the Marine Corps. Riptide maintains two additional IDIQs valued up to $47 million and $43 million respectively to furnish these types of capabilities on an as-needed basis. As a prime and subcontractor, Riptide has significant experience supporting Army and Marine Corps training and readiness through its work on simulation, modeling, and instrumentation systems.
