The originating solicitation sought feedback and contractor capabilities for sustainment of the Army vessel fleet through the Army-Watercraft Sustainment Maintenance program. Responses were due in February 2019. Contractors were required to demonstrate experience with the vessel classes and involving small businesses. The AWSM enables the Army to efficiently maintain its fleet of watercraft supporting operations in the vital Asia-Pacific region by leveraging industry expertise through competitive task orders for repairs, upgrades, and cyclical maintenance.
