Presolicitation Notice for Armor Hardware, Turret Systems, and Platform Integration Kits
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of Project Manager Soldier Lethality, intends to issue a Request for Proposal for the provision of Armored Hardware, Turret Systems, and Platform Integration Kits to support integration of crew served weapons on vehicle platforms. The solicitation will have a requirement for the manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, production, and delivery of armor and turret system hardware as well as platform integration kits in accordance with technical data packages. Offerors must be able to produce a minimum of 100 units per month for each contract line item within 180 days of award and ramp up to a minimum of 300 units per month within six months. Proposals are due by November 13, 2023.
The contract is set aside 100% for small businesses and may result in up to two awards, each with a base year and four option years. Offerors must also pass a First Article Test within 180 days of any delivery order award. Technical data packages will be provided with distribution limitations and export control restrictions.
