The federal government awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to General Aviation Industries, Inc., a woman-owned small business manufacturer, to procure various aviation ground support equipment, aircraft components, and industrial supplies for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation. The single-award IDC has a ceiling value of $2,885,712 and a period of performance through February 2023.
Under this IDC, DLA Aviation has issued multiple firm-fixed price delivery orders to General Aviation Industries for the procurement of riser terminal assemblies, vehicular wheel components, globe valves, strainer plugs, and cargo tie downs. The delivery orders range from $92,352 to $384,160 and have completion dates from 2019 through 2023. General Aviation Industries has also secured several active IDCs with DLA Land and Maritime to provide additional vehicular and industrial supplies. These contracted products and services support the maintenance and readiness of military aircraft, vehicles, and equipment for the U.S. armed forces.
