The U.S. Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) has awarded a $249.7 million Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to HII Mission Technologies Corporation, a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries. The contract is for the provision of development, technical, management, and engineering services in support of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems and information operations across all domains, from seabed to space.
Under this multiple-award IDC vehicle, HII will compete for and fulfill task orders to provide a range of technical and analytical services, including research, studies, hardware/software development, testing, deployment, repair, systems engineering, program management, logistics, maintenance, training, and analysis. The work may require personnel with up to Top Secret/SCI clearances and will be performed worldwide, including aboard vessels and alongside coalition partners. The contract has a three-year base period and one two-year option, with orders placed using the FAR 16.505(a) ordering procedures. This is a new requirement without any set-aside designations, and the original solicitation was released in August 2020 by NAVWAR.
