The Department of the Navy's Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) awarded a single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to Trandes Corp., a woman-owned small business, to provide engineering, technical, and logistics services for tactical air navigation (TACAN), air traffic control and landing systems (ATCALS), air command and control, and joint tactical systems.
The $63.8 million IDIQ contract has a two-year base period with three one-year option periods, and an estimated level of effort of 700,892 hours. Through this contract and associated delivery orders, Trandes will deliver a wide range of services including systems integration, software development, testing and evaluation, repair and overhaul, and maintenance for the Navy's aviation, shipboard communications, radar, and electronic warfare systems. Trandes also holds a separate $249.7 million IDIQ contract with NAVWAR to provide development, engineering, and technical services for the agency's intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) initiatives across maritime, air, space, and cyber domains.
