The U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) awarded a $10.8 million single-award indefinite delivery contract to Alloy Crane & Machinery LLC, a woman-owned small business, for the Side Connector Overhaul and Regeneration (SCOR) III program in support of the Service Craft Overhaul and Repair requirements. Under this IDV, NAVFAC has issued a $1.88 million firm fixed price delivery order to Alloy Crane for side connector overhaul and regeneration services.
The SCOR III contract aims to sustain side connectors and associated lifting equipment for naval shipyard infrastructure and fleet vessel maintenance. Alloy Crane, which has previously supported this program through other prime contracts and delivery orders, will provide personnel, facilities, equipment, transportation, and logistics to perform inspection, testing, cleaning, and regeneration of the side connectors and auxiliary support equipment. This work is being performed in Jacksonville, Florida and the contract has a period of performance through March 2031.
