Blackwatch International Corporation has been awarded a single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Defense Microelectronics Activity with a potential value of $96.9 million. The IDV aims to procure manufacturing sustainment and engineering support services to design, fabricate, assemble, build, test, evaluate, verify, validate, and procure microelectronics through August 2028.
A $34.6 million task order was also awarded against this IDV. It is for the same manufacturing sustainment and engineering support services, to be completed by March 2028 at McClellan Park, California. These services will support the Defense Microelectronics Activity's mission through expertise in trusted microelectronics for defense applications.
The originating pre-solicitation sought capability statements for manufacturing sustainment and engineering support of the Defense Microelectronics Activity's Advanced Reconfigurable Manufacturing for Semiconductors Foundry and Integrated Circuits Manufacturing Support Labs. Responses were due in February 2023 to assist in requirements development and determining an appropriate small business set-aside for the anticipated single-award five-year IDC and initial five-year cost-plus-fixed-fee task order.
