The Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) is an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity multiple award contract vehicle held by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). SPARC aims to procure a range of information technology services across the enterprise performance life cycle to support CMS systems and initiatives. Ventech Solutions Inc. was awarded a position on the SPARC contract as a prime contractor.
Ventech Solutions received two task orders against SPARC. The first was a $54.5 million time and materials order to continue providing Health Information Deterministic Services Center tasking, cloud operations, and ServiceNow services from March 2023 through December 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. The second was a $1.7 million firm fixed price 8(a) sole source order to provide streamlined agile delivery services such as user experience design, business analysis, and configuration support leveraging the ServiceNow platform from September 2021 through September 2023 in Maryland.
Both orders aim to support CMS quality-related initiatives with services including cloud operations, ServiceNow platform management, and agile software development. SPARC and associated orders demonstrate CMS's utilization of ID/IQ contracts to efficiently procure a range of IT services and solutions over multiple years from qualified small business partners like Ventech Solutions.
