The U.S. Air Force's Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WRALC) awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) valued at up to $270 million to L3 Technologies, Inc. Communication Systems-West Division to provide sustainment and support for the U2 aircraft's data links. Under this single-award IDC, WRALC has issued several firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery orders totaling over $100 million to date.
The key products and services being delivered include advanced communication systems, equipment, and components such as tactical data links, satellite communications, antennas, radio frequency amplifiers, modems, power distribution, circuit card assemblies, software, and associated installation and support services. These capabilities support the U2 reconnaissance aircraft's intelligence, surveillance, and communications requirements. The work is being performed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and does not utilize any small business set-asides. The contracts leverage L3 Technologies' extensive experience as a prime and subcontractor providing specialized communication systems to the Department of Defense and allied nations.
