The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center has awarded an indefinite-delivery contract (FA812117D0014) to Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC, a manufacturer of aerospace and defense components, for the remanufacture of TF33 turbofan engine vanes, shrouds, and stators. Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC, doing business as Chromalloy Georgia, will perform the work at its facilities in Newnan, Georgia.
The contract has a ceiling value of $32,679,224.31 and does not utilize any set-aside designations. Under this contract, the Air Force Sustainment Center has issued multiple firm fixed price delivery orders to Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC ranging from $142,904 to $4.3 million for the remanufacture of various TF33 engine components. This supports the Air Force's ongoing maintenance and sustainment efforts for the TF33 turbofan engine, which powers aircraft like the B-52 Stratofortress. Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC also holds a larger $66.7 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Air Force Sustainment Center for the remanufacture of F100-PW-200 engine components through 2025.
