This acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Proposal (RFP) utilizing FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A single award Firm Fixed Price, Performance Based Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will result from the solicitation. Award selection will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15, specifically 15.101-2. Period of performance will be for a base period and four (4) one-year option periods plus a six (6) month extension period (if needed). This acquisition is being solicited as a Small Business Administration Certified 8(a) Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code 621111 will apply to this acquisition; and, the small business size standard is $10 million. The RFP Number is FA4877-15-R-0001 and shall be issued on or about 15 Jun 2014, posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov).
