Non-Personal Technical Support for the Pavement Surface Characteristics Program

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for a contract to continue to conduct non-personal technical support services for the FHWAs pavement surface characteristics applied research, development and technology programs. It is anticipated that work under this contract may include off-site support at the Contractors facility or at field locations throughout the United States. The resulting contract may include applied research, testing, developmental work, analysis, technology delivery, deployment support, and technical support related to the pavement surface characteristics necessary to support FHWAs strategic objective to improve pavement condition and ride quality of pavement for user satisfaction. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will consist of a two-year base period with three one-year option periods. It is also anticipated that this requirement will be 100 percent set-aside for small business pursuant to NAICS code 541712 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the FedBizOpps posting system at http://www.Fedbizopps.gov under the Vendors option followed by selection of the Department of Transportation (DOT) center. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored.
