NATIONAL TYPE 2-IA FIREFIGHTER CREWS
Added: Jan 04, 2016 12:14 pm The U.S. Forest Service, Incident Support Branch at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho, is soliciting the services of up to forty-one (41) Type 2-IA (Initial Attack qualified) 20-person firefighting crews for use in wildland fire suppression and all risk incidents. Other optional work includes severity/preparedness assignments and project work related to fuels management. Prospective contractors will be required to supply fully trained, qualified, and equipped firefighters as per contract requirements. This solicitation will be advertised as a total small business set aside. The resultant multiple award, fixed price, indefinite delivery contracts will be effective for a base period and, at the option of the Government, up to four (4) additional optional periods. The base contract period will be effective from date of award through December 31, 2016.
