About this IDV
NASA awarded a multiple-award IDIQ to Firewatch Contracting Of Florida LLC, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, on October 24, 2017, with a ceiling of $1,012,850.73 and an ultimate completion date of April 23, 2027. This is one of 24 regionalized IDIQs under NASA's Multiple Award Construction Contract Two (MACC-II) program.
The IDIQ supports general construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair, demolition, design-build, and new construction of buildings and facilities at John C. Stennis Space Center, Johnson Space Center (including White Sands Test Facility), Kennedy Space Center, and Marshall Space Flight Center (including Michoud Assembly Facility). The contract also supports emergency response to natural disasters and emergencies. Other NASA centers and federal tenants at NASA facilities may utilize MACC-II with Stennis Space Center procurement officer approval. MACC-II is not a requirements contract and is intended to provide a flexible construction contracting vehicle; participation is voluntary for ordering activities.
The initial solicitation included four seed projects, one for each of the four primary centers, with contracting to commence via initial model task orders. The contractor provides all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to perform work as defined in task order specifications and drawings.
A delivery order was issued under this IDIQ on November 9, 2017 (ultimate completion May 8, 2018) to John C. Stennis Space Center with a ceiling of $5,000.00 under firm-fixed-price pricing.
