The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center has awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) worth up to $18 million to Nanoracks, LLC, a commercial provider of services related to research and utilization of the International Space Station (ISS) and small satellite technologies. This multiple-award IDC, known as the CubeSat Dispenser Hardware and Mission Integration Services 3 (CUBESAT) contract, is set aside for small businesses and runs through August 2024.
Under this IDC, Nanoracks provides CubeSat-related hardware and integration services to support NASA's CubeSat Launch Initiative and other small satellite deployment efforts. Specific task orders issued to date include CubeSat integration support for the Venture Class Launch Services (VCLS) Demonstration 2 project, as well as Federal Communications Commission consulting services for the Terrestrial Rays Analysis and Detection (TRYAD) mission. These awards demonstrate Nanoracks' ongoing role in supporting NASA's exploration goals, educational outreach, and small satellite technology development initiatives.
