The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has awarded a $4.5 million single-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis, Inc., an economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, for Software Engineering Process Improvement 2 (SEPI2) services. Through this IDC, Cepeda Systems provides software engineering, systems integration, risk management, and process improvement support to multiple NASA centers, including Kennedy Space Center, Stennis Space Center, Johnson Space Center, and Marshall Space Flight Center. The contract has a performance period through December 2025 and allows for the issuance of task orders for a variety of professional services in support of NASA's space exploration, rocket propulsion, and advanced technology development initiatives. Cepeda Systems is an experienced provider of these services, having been awarded numerous prime and subcontracts from NASA and other federal agencies due to its certifications as a Woman-Owned Small Business and HUBZone firm.
In addition to the SEPI2 IDC, Cepeda Systems holds other significant IDVs with NASA and the General Services Administration, including a $24.5 million single-award blanket purchase agreement for engineering support services and multiple-award contracts under the OASIS and OASIS+ programs. Through these vehicles, Cepeda has received task orders for a range of services, such as CMMI appraisals, software process improvement initiatives, risk management support, and project management assistance across NASA's mission-critical programs and facilities.
