The Department of Agriculture's Forest Service Job Corps has awarded a single-award indefinite delivery contract (IDC) to Sure Drain, LLC, a for-profit small business, to provide wastewater hauling and treatment services at the Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center in Bristol, Tennessee. The $1.8 million IDC has a period of performance through June 2028 and enables the Forest Service Job Corps to readily obtain the containerized waste management support required to maintain proper facility operations while providing vocational training programs.
Under the IDC, Sure Drain has been awarded several firm-fixed price delivery orders, including a $949,426.20 award for hazardous wastewater hauling and treatment, a $698,307.60 order for wastewater hauling and treatment services through June 2024, and a $92,600 order for wastewater services through May 2025. The Forest Service Job Corps previously conducted market research through a sources sought synopsis to identify interested small businesses, 8(a), HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned, and women-owned small businesses capable of providing the required hazardous wastewater services at the Jacobs Creek facility.
