About this IDV

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service awarded a $250,000 Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Able Resources LLC, a self-certified small disadvantaged business, to provide vehicle with driver services to support wildland fire suppression and all-hazard incident response operations across the agency's Pacific Southwest (Region 5) and Pacific Northwest (Region 6) regions. The IDC, which was solicited through the Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) system as a total small business set-aside, covers the provision of various transportation resources including pickup trucks, stake side trucks, passenger vans, and sport utility vehicles with qualified drivers. Under this IDC, Able Resources LLC has been issued several delivery orders ranging from $7,368 to $46,063.89 to rapidly deliver critical transportation and logistics support services in California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Pacific Island territories during emergency situations.

In addition to the IDC, the Forest Service has also awarded Able Resources LLC several firm fixed price delivery orders, valued between $7,368 and $41,515, to provide unspecified products and services in support of the agency's wildland fire suppression and incident response operations in the Pacific Southwest and Pacific Northwest regions. These delivery orders were issued against separate contract vehicles and did not utilize any set-aside designations. The contracted services aim to ensure the Forest Service has access to reliable transportation resources that can be quickly mobilized to support its critical emergency response capabilities across the West Zone.
