The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service (USDA-AMS) awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Riveridge Produce Marketing Inc., a small business vendor, to provide apples for use in domestic food assistance programs. The contract has a ceiling value of $155,712.00 and a period of performance through June 30, 2025.
Under this IDC, Riveridge Produce Marketing Inc. will deliver fresh apples and apples for further processing to various locations nationwide to support USDA food assistance initiatives, including the National School Lunch Program. The contract includes multiple task orders totaling over $11 million for the delivery of apples for further processing, as well as a separate task order for the provision of fresh packaged apples in 3-pound bags. These deliveries are scheduled through June 2024 and June 2023, respectively. The contract was set aside for small businesses, with a 30% set-aside for HUBZone small businesses, and allows for potential service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVO) and 8(a) business set-asides. All commodities and agricultural products must be grown, processed, and prepared exclusively in the United States.
